Job Description:
Conduct preliminary oral examinations and record defects; clean and polish teeth; take and develop x-rays of patient's teeth; advise intra-oral procedures. May perform root canal planning; polish and contour restorations and oral exfoliative cytology. Give individual and group instructions to patients, families and groups in the care of teeth, encouraging the use of corrective treatment as well as preventive methods such as proper cleaning, regular examinations and good nutrition.
