A periodontist is a specialist who, in addition to traditional dental school, has completed advanced studies in teeth, gums and bone.  Because of the advanced training the periodontist can provide many beneficial procedures including:

Dr. Munné’s basic science research experience is in the field of bone matrix mineralization. Her experimental studies have been related to implants and Guided Bone Regeneration, she has participated in clinical studies evaluating different types of barriers, and established a study on connective tissue grafts. Dr. Munné speaks Spanish, Catalan, French, Italian, and English.
